Last Friday 18 students from Mrs. Mason’s and Mr. Reed’s CSI classes attended the 2nd annual Lenawee County VEX competition. Students participated in four different robotics events against nine other districts from the county. Jacob Morgan and Nathan Williams placed 1st and Jacob Lehsten placed 5th in the autonomous challenge. Jacob Lehsten, Anthony Holt and Noah Wollet came in 3rd in the instant challenge. Bryanna Borck, Simi Parhar and Maize Sholl dominated the head to head challenge defeating not only other middle school teams, but crushing several high school teams to earn a 1st place win in the event. Overall the Hudson CSI team came in 2nd. Great Job to all the student participants and special thanks to Mr. Poling, Mr. Rogers and Mr. Horwath for helping make the day a success.
