ROLL CALL

President Wes Rowan called the special meeting of the Hudson Area Schools Board of Education to order at 4:03 p.m. Roll call showed Bills, Enerson, Reamsnyder, Rowan and Rupnow present. Evenson and Price were absent. Others in attendance included school administration.

Motion was made by Enerson and supported by Reamsnyder to set the agenda as presented. YES-5, NO-0: Motion passed unanimously.

OLD BUSINESS
  1. Schools of Choice Program 2016-2017: Motion was made by Enerson and supported by Bills to approve the continued participation in the Schools of Choice program for the 2016-2017 school year. YES-5, NO-0: Motion passed unanimously.
  2. 2016-2017 Tuition & Transportation Rates: Motion was made by Reamsnyder and supported by Enerson that the Board of Education set the 2016-2017 tuition rate at the foundation allowance if a student enrolls after the fall count date or if a release by the resident district has not been granted and to set the 2016-2017 transportation rate at up to $750 for non-resident students requesting transportation. YES-5, NO-0: Motion passed unanimously.
  3. 2016-2017 New Courses:Motion was made by Enerson and supported by Bills that the Board of Education approve the new courses for 2016-2017 as presented. YES-5, NO-0: Motion passed unanimously.
