Hudson Area Schools’ Hall of Fame nominations are being accepted through April 1st to recognize and honor alumni, employees, and major contributors to Hudson Area Schools.
Superintendent Dr. Michael Osborne stated, "The Hall of Fame Awards program is designed to acknowledge those people that have distinguished themselves for their contributions in scholarships, athletics, activities, careers and community service. We feel very fortunate that Hudson Area Schools and the surrounding communities have many individuals that have made an impact on not only on their school, but on the communities they serve."
Past recipients of the Hall of Fame Award are Francis Freeborn, Hazel Monahan, Don Murdock, Bill Thompson, Cindy Corner, Claude Rowley, Winning Streak Football Teams and Coaches, John Ashley, Gerald Blackburn, Phil Eberhard, Tedroe Minton, Jim Reamsnyder, Jim Topps, Mary Enerson, Jan Fisher, Bob Duncan, John Enerson, Ray Curran, Bob Patrick, Brian Evenson, Mollie Wolf, Norma Riley, Don Kerr, Dave Rickard, Bob Darr, Rudy Ramos, Brock Rychener and Becky Lawrence.
Recipients are honored at the annual Alumni Banquet, this year on July 27th at the Hudson American Legion. Nomination forms are available on the Hudson Hall of Fame Facebook page, on the school website (www.hudson.k12.mi.us) and at the Board office. The deadline for nominations is April 1st.
