Hudson Teachers Receive HEF Mini Grants
The Hudson Educational Foundation (HEF) Mini Grant program awarded Hudson Area School teachers funds for classroom programs and projects. This annual program provides funds that impact student instruction in a content area or classroom. Dr. Michael Osborne, Superintendent, commented, “Hudson Area Schools is very grateful to HEF for awarding funds to projects that benefit our students and acknowledges dedicated staff members for service above and beyond expectations.” The staff and projects for the 2024-2025 school year are: Jim Bauer, Jr High School Science Teacher-Earthworm and Frog Dissection Supplies; Aubrey Horton, K-4 Reading Interventionist–UFLI Phonics Kits; Christie Schmidt,1st Grade Teacher-Charging Stations for Success; and Shana Williams, 6th Grade Teacher – Making Inferences with Art.
